Hi all

far better reports on this place by go steady here: http://www.urbexforums.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1382&highlight=mink

and KE here: http://www.urbexforums.co.uk/showthread.php?t=319&highlight=mink

I went yesterday and in fairness if you want to visit this place you'd better bring along a machete - nature really has gone to town with many of the sheds overgrown to the extent that access is nigh on impossible. I was hooked after seeing the two above reports and it was an itch that had to be scratched - shame the state it's in and was a lil disappointed but still glad i went as it's something so different and just out of curiosity.

So I rucked up there and was all alone the whole time no one around so made for a nice easy, leisurely time.

anyhoo on with the pics unfortunately yet again not too much to work with so tried to get some reasonable shots as I could with what I had to work with:

That's it folks. I believe it closed in 1997 so in 12 years nature has really taken a hold. I read somewhere that when the animal loving activists freed the mink they promptly went about attacking and eating the local cat population (the mink not the activists) hmmmm can't help feeling maybe they didn't think through their actions.

Sadly the little "office" building in the above reports is no longer there - so what you see is all that's left.

all in all a little disappointing but still glad i went and would go again if someone else wanted to see it.
