This was one of these chance explores where your given info of a grand residential house to go and see. All I know about it was that it was latterally used as a care home which shut about four years ago.


On arrival I could see the driveway was a little more overgrown that I was expecting

Plodding on this came into view - not very ornate but not too bad I thought

Venturing into the house it was sadly very derelict and was obvious that it had been refurbed of anything ornate in its time as a care home.

the water was getting in so badly the upstairs floors were already partly collapsed

mind you at least there was a comfy seat available.

I left feeling a little cheated by this one - but then again it did provide a nice little wander and the feeling someone wants to flatten it for prime land for a modern build.
