Topcliffe ROC
Status: Open.
Was in the area so had a look at this one. It was a 1968 closure and isn't in that bad a condition below. It's had the usual chav attacks but it's bone dry down there. Up top it's a different story. The access shaft is left high after the surrounding soil has been removed (or subsided?!?) and the concrete apron is cracked and broken.
