Visited here on Sunday with Wurzel. It was a Anti Invasion mock wall made up of reinforced concrete for practicing the D-day landings. In other words they made it and then blew it apart a lot quicker than they built it.
It is 86m in length and is 3 metres thick and approx 3 metres high and reinforced with 1/2 inch and 1 inch steel rods and the corrugations of the shuttering used in the construction of the wall are clearly visible. Parts of the wall have been blown clean out by some heavy artillary. There is a tunnel through the wall halfway down it.
The 4 bunkers are filled in or flooded unfortunatly and I was only able to enter one which is badly damaged. There is faint trails in the ground of where a trench system would of connected them. Here is my pics
Here is where the Germans went wrong they should of had this sign up

The last bunker was a Tobruk bunker and had two gun emplacements on top and was flooded also . Managed to squeeze camera in though.
