Visited with 'Bunkerkid' - Kilkhampton is one of those posts you come across and think! 'Now this would make a nice resto':thumb
Situated in its own very nice fenced compound, but easily got to from a farm gate(the original gate is there but has to be reclaimed from nature) it lays behind a 5 foot high, Cornish hedgerow.
Out of site of the regular holiday makers who use the layby, it remains in a remarkable condition. A, 91 closure its quite dry and waiting silently for someone to restore it:thumb

Although overgrown the compound fencing is well maintained by the farmer.

Post is open but its un-noticed location keeps people away!

Inside is stripped but dry (apart from sump) & complete with shelving and cupboard.

Original compound gate and entrance into layby, overgrown but still in situ!
