Evening all, first post, so go easy on me!
Chain Home was the codename for the ring of coastal radar stations built by the British before and during World War II. The system comprised two types of radar. The Chain Home stations, or AMES Type 1 (Air Ministry Experimental Station), provided long-range detection. The Chain Home Low stations, or AMES Type 2, were shorter-ranged but could detect aircraft flying at lower levels. Wiki article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chain_Home)
This was a relatively rushed explore, mostly due to the wind trying to knock me over at the time! And my camera stopped working, but an interesting site, now used by the National Air Traffic Service as a transmitter station. While I was there it appears they were replacing some of the bits of radio wizardry from inside the building. Anyway, here we go. Some pictures

Footing for a building, I'm thinking it was an admin/control building due to the size of it

Not quite sure what this is, it was in the middle of where a tower would of been, any suggestions?
