1991 Closure
Just of the M6, nearly in someones backgarden. This was a 5.45am trip to the post and my first encounter with a Scottish tbar mechanism. I took me a few mins to work out how to unlock them.
Inside the post is ok but flooded. You have to balance on a very rusty paint tin to take the pictures. The water was just too minging to wade into at that time of the morning :fail
Not much remains inside, a poster and a few bits of paperwork is all.

A close up of the Scottish tbar mechanism. A much more considered design that the normal UK version. It locks itself on closure which is probably why there are nice posts up that way.
