1991 Closure

I had high hopes for this post as it looks great from others reports. As I climbed the hill I could see the hatch had been removed by force along with the frame. I feared the worst.

Squeezing past the buckled frame I found a really nice post below. Loads of nice paperwork, comms equipment and nice and dry despite the damage to the hatch. The Tel3talk is missing and that explains the damage to the hatch I guess.

The rain was coming down in sheets at this point and I was soaked through hence the really poor surface pictures :thumb

It used to be locked on padlocks by the farmer many moons ago, with a BPI in it. The locks and BPI went (to a happy place I hope!) and since maybe the end of last year someone without a t-bar key has obviously gone to town on the hatch. The TT was maybe gone before that though?

Good to hear it's still dry and not trashed at least.

Shame about this ... it's just a couple of miles up the road from me, and was the first post I saw with a TT inside. Are the duffel coats still there? They don't appear to be from the photos ...

A shame it is not water tight, as there is some good stuff there. Is it unusual to have the comms stuff that near the wall? I thought they were usually in the middle?
