If you have ever been to Darwen you cannot have missed the incredible India Mills chimney. Grade II listed and probably the finest chimney I have ever seen, it dominates the local town. She was built in 1867 as a result of a competition between local businesmen to see who could build the best mill.

It's now been restored and a pair of Peregine Falcons live on it. I did see them today but couldn't get a photo of the little blighters LOL

Not UE but an object I admire and love :thumb
