Ok a bit different this one so I am open to some abuse :thumb

London Zoo just of Regents Park is a great place to visit (if expensive) it also contains some derelict and disused bits. The Penguin Pool is quite famous and is a Grade 1 listed structure. Designed by Berthold Lubetkin in 1934, the penguins have moved out and now the zoo has no idea what to do with this stunning slice of architecture.

The walkways below have been closed off since 1997 and used to take visitors up to the bear pits and mountains above. The bears have gone and the cool 1960s walkways are overgrown and forgotten.

This place contains two Grade 1 and eight Grade 2 listed buildings so if you look closely you can see more than just tourists and unhappy animals :thumb
