Well Kingelvis, if you havnt done this site yet, then you need to make it a priority:D

After an original plan of going to the RGS pattern company monday, my plans changed i decided to head here.

http://www.flashearth.com/?lat=53.405058&lon=-1.558356&z=16.4&r=0&src=msl

It looked big and apart from the light coloured building to the far left of that link, its all one site.

and upon arrival it is a BIG site and after getting caught by Mr Security,(broke my busted virginty) it seemed they are on the ball...........

However, yesterday i did return, early........... and to my shock, a set of bloody guards were still there!!!!!. Meh, i decided to recce around (to return a later date) and found my way in anyway, and here are the pics:thumb

Ive took about 80 pics in total, and looking at the flashearth site, i think i got around just over quarter of the site. There are a few buildings mulling around very close to the securiity cabins as well, they look like the old offices for the premises. I HAVE to go back to this site, the photos really dont do it justice, and I think anyone into photography can get some real decent images from this site, especially if taking photos in RAW, and /or converting them to HDR/

What i would recommend and something which i didnt have, is wearing respirators, as there is a lot of soot, dust some pigeon shit, and possibly asbestos around this place. It might be an idea for two people to do this site at once, due to the size but also, so one can be a lookout for the other from the security guys. I say this mainly because whilst inside the buildings your fine, but there are open spaces between the buildings abnd between access, where you can be seen from like 3 angles of the securityr fence, which the security guards seem to patrol.

either way a great explore and as i said earlier, i believe i only covered just over quarter of the actual site due to time restrictions, and my card was full:(. If you look at the flashearth link, to the left of the image, and just right of the light coloured building, there are two large buildings types, this is the only part of the site i got through, so you can see how much is left to explore:w00t
