(I'm going to try to keep this one short as my other one was very long, hopefully more success this time.)

Not sure what category this one goes into or even if it counts as an explore, anyway;

This estate was built approx 5 or 6 years ago, the houses were of a nice standard and in an ideal location by a main road and by the sea. After the buildings were up and prior to final fittings, the tide levels were noticed to be higher than expected and were coming in under the main roa and affecting the foundations of the houses. The water table report was wrong and the building stopped. The houses now lie unfinished and unoccupied. All the houses have had one of the rear windows forced open, no damage internally and doesnt seem like anything has been taken. Its not going to be easy to solve the problem of the water table so its unclear how long they are going to lie like this. These would not have been cheap to build as they are all stone faced and have large back gardens.
Just at the side of the site is a fantastic old building, I dont know what it was but its on private land.
Just goes to show how important a proper engineers report is prior to construction!
