OK, so it's not strictly urbex seeing as it was guided, but it was a great day.
These copper mines are HUGE - the Derbyshire caving club are doing an amazing job of digging them out.
Thanks so much to the guys for inviting us along today - it was great to learn a bit about how things worked down the mines, and how the different parts of the rock were formed....

Anyway - enough talk..... photos...(I'm still finding my way around my new cam, so don't be too harsh :) )

oooh would like to see the mine how do you get yourself invited?

Underground photography is fairly tricky and you've got yourself some nice shots there

the Derbyshire caving club run tours through there - contact them - they charge £5 to cover their insurance but it is sooooo worth it :) best fiver I've spent in a long time :)

No need to be harsh...they're good pics! Anyone who's been anywhere this dark (cinema, long tunnel, shelter etc ) knows lighting them isn't easy. Nice one...looks like a decent trip. :thumb
