A few diving shots from our Bonaire trip Jan 2009. We picked Bonaire because the reef wall is just a short swim offshore. No expensive, inconvenient and crowded boat trips are necessary as is the norm at most dive locations.
There is a wide variety of tropical fish, however most are not extremely large. The main interest is the corral, both hard and soft, that comes in incredible range of color and shapes.
Down at 100 feet or so several time I found myself forgetting I was underwater and just staring transfixed. What I was seeing reminded me of the intense psychedelic lights shows at concerts years past.
