During my solo trip around Scotland I decided to have a looksie around here.
Nice to understand a bit of my heritage.
Super views from the top and a great insight into Sir Williams life and struggle for freedom.

Keeping the spirit of William Wallace alive.

fourth pic is a great view along towards Alva - a load of old silver mines in those hills to the left were used to fund the Jacobites - well after Wallaces time. Even HDR doesnt make Stirling any less of a cesspit though!!
Superb pics mate. :thumb worth the hike up

there is a nifty explore I can almost see in one of your pics :secret id forgotten about - although dunno its status at present.

Do tell sir this is my stomping ground.

I see this everyday as it dominates the areas skyline, never actually been inside though, cool views from up top, can just about see where i work in picture 8.

Said the man livving in the city with some of europes worst poverty and depressing grey pebbledash archetechture (which might be your thing?)

Bits of stirling are quite nice but like UBEX you have to WORK to find and appreciate them...
