Was originally looking for somewhere "industrial" for a photoshoot with a cybergoth male model, and noticed a rookie report by no1rich.
Pictures didnt really show the place off too much but messaged him anyway. He was proper helpful, gave me lots of info and even went down before work one day to photograph where I should park and then the route along to the entrance! Saved me alot of time and effort thats for sure :D
So myself, Mykal and this dude went down last weekend, Mykal got some shots of the building whilst I was concentrating on modelly things but we got disturbed by what sounded like someone else being in there so we left. There was alot of stuff we didnt get chance to have a good look at and of course I wanted to photograph the actual building so we headed back down there this weekend with Sandman and Shepy.
Got up at 9am to see the backgarden blanketed in snow. Pretty, but not good exploring due to the cold and also leaving tracks! Dont get me wrong, it wouldnt ruin an explore, one of my favourite splores was St Marys during blizzards, it was beautiful, but on this day I just wanted to be warm and comfy! I eventually got up and ready amidst lectures as to why I should purchase myself some para-boots.....
Its not a huge site but it has some looooooooooooovely bits and pieces (if you like that kind of thing). Cant find any history of the place, all I know is it closed in 2001 due to foot and mouth.

Upstairs, we couldnt quite figure out what went on up here, possibly something to do with bones as this is where the carcasses were brought up after stripping. Or so Shepy reliably informed me.
