Hi to everyone, like everyone I here I am fascinated by derelict buildings but I do not go out looking for them any anymore.

Hot really sure when I can post to the full forum, but here is my first report.

I was in Poland recently and everyday I traveled between Zambrow and Lomza.

Running across the road was a railway with new looking signs and a new looking sign for a station pointing down a tiny road into a forest. Yet the railway line seemed to be overgrown and unused.

On my last day I went to look for the station in the woods, the light was fading and all I had was my mobile as I left my camera in the UK.

I found it is n longer there. What i found out is that the site was a old military base, shut in the early 80s. The line shut down fourteen years ago, the station got demolished nine years ago and the signs, they were renewed three years ago.

I sadly had little time to explore.

There was one old building on site but was now a house and a couple of newish small storage areas that i did not photograph them

Hope it is not to boring.
