Notre Dame Convent and school and were built in 1914, in the 20's a chapel was added and the architect Reginald Francis Joseph Fairlie was commisioned. The school and convent are sadly demolished now (around 2004) and all that remains is the chapel (B listed building).
It has been completely ruined by chavs. There were plans to develop the site and use the chapel as part of the housing to be built.

I uncovered half a dozen young chavs with there bottles of cheap cider and beer inside when I arrived.
So after I got the chavs cleared out ....
