Closed Fairground, Great Yarmouth - September 2013

Visited with dannyday58218195. This place wasn't so much 'abandoned' as 'closed for the winter', but as we were on the sea front on a crappy day with nothing to do we thought we'd just pop in seeing as though the owner kindly left the gates open for us ;)

It was very eerie walking around this place, half of the attractions were lit up, and there were also prizes that were left out and not covered up, but was a very enjoyable explore.

I love things like this, even more so at night.

I used to have a friend who's family had a static caravan down in great yarmouth, he would come back from his holiday every year and tell me how awesome it is and that his brother got tossed off in the middle of one of the youth clubs dance floor, he kept trying to get me to go with him, in hindsight i'm glad i didn't go because he was just like Jay from the Inbetweeners, caravan club included.
