Visited with Tankman on our way back from a visit to Greenham Common (report to follow) as the day came to a close, and we didn't guess it would take this long on what we thought would be a 5 minute diversion! This post has got a lot worse over time, compound is very overgrown now since previous reports but from what we could tell is still welded. Would be interesting to see inside this one, don't think anyone has ever documented what's inside this post.

The back vent (apologies for blurry picture, lens was set on macro :rant )

FSM pipe

What little is still exposed of the hatch, verdict is this post is still welded shut.

Nice sunset to a good days exploring.

Till next time, cheers for looking.

haha aye coming up to a year since my first post visit, wish I had got into it all much earlier though. Shame how many posts have been robbed out of bits of kit over recent years really

Yeh they have gotten a lot worse over the years, shame as they used to be really good some of them. Not likely to get better either so your best to visit them now while they still can be!
