Haven House - Lower Saxony, Germany - Dec 2012

I stumbled across this abandoned house in Germany a few weeks ago, unsure if people still lived here or not i reccy’d the place a few times and decided it was worth a look as nobody had been to the house for ages.

I had a few scares when inside as the batteries in the clock were still working making me again wonder if i was going to find people asleep in there!

I have absolutely no history on the building but it looks as if the owners were in the process of gathering up their belongings before they suddenly disappeared, there were quite a few outbuilding with animal pens which could have been used for chickens etc.

My visit was quite hasty so the pics arnt the best for which i apologise.

It 100% wasn't lived in, all the windows were smashed bar a couple, and no footprints to or from the house in the last 2 weeks of snow we've had here.

looks pretty good inside, typical german with the almost see through curtains and colour of woodwork.
