HEALINGS FLOUR MILL
TEWKESBURY

This splendid old girl dates back to 1865 and was once considered to be the largest and most modern flour mill in the world!
Grain was brought in by road, rail and river. It must have been a major hive of activity at the height of production.
However, the mill closed its doors in November 2006 after 140 years of milling!!
It has been recently sold to the 'St Francis Group' who prepare sites for 'redevelopment'

Visited after a 'no go' in Cheltenham on the off chance that she was open and bugger me she was!!
A real fascinating splore LOADS of machinery and pipe work left behind, some of it looks like its hardly been used.
Hope you enjoy the pics as much as I enjoyed takin em...

The place looks in great condition considering it's been empty for 6 years and has a decent view too. Thanks for posting!

That's a solid effort there. But then judging by how it looked a year ago it really has been sabotaged.

They were the type of pikeys that looked like they punched each other for fun, so I was happy to not bother with it as I quite like having a camera.
