Bit of a permission visit in the sense that i rang up and asked for the keys and they gave them me, but beings as there hasn't been a flurry of posts i thought i'd share!!

St Werburghs Chapel, also known as Johnsons Chapel, is a smaller chapel attached to St Werburghs church in the centre of derby. Its all derped, the chapel section however is still owned by the churches conservation trust and they spent some time restoring it in 2004, but it is now locked up again and never used....
The larger section of the church is also derped to high hell, it was "WOK MANIA!" a substandard chinese restaurant, where the chocolate fountain was placed on the altar where the font should of been, and in an act of gods wrath towards the amount of duck and hoisin pancake rolls i had once consumed, it once exploded on me covering me head to toe in hot melty chocolate......(true story)

Anyway, the restaurant got shut down and so has the main church and its sealed tighter than... (could make some joke about locked doors priests and choir boys here but lets just say there is no getting in to the uninvited atm).....
it has also recently had massive, signs saying "ermahgerd we have got closed circuit troll vision fitted" but i'm doubting so,
STILL... the chapel makes a nice 15 minute dero and its pretty so here is some photies!!

Visited with Mini Me - she shot all her pictures on film though, she says that she will post them at some point and send them to all the newspapers, websites, and just the whole internet in general because when i wasn't looking by sheer chance she managed to crawl into an epic part of the church, and everyone needs to see her pictures and they need to be the only record of it, because its not her fault we don't all put in more effort...... so i've stopped her pocket down to 1p a week, that why by the time she can afford the processing, some other people might have a chance to derp the main church somehow ................ (TRO-LOL-LOL)
