Hanson Concrete Products Ltd derby. well this place has been around for years I am not sure if it’s always had the same name or why this particular branch has been shut down but the company as a whole is still running, we did visit a few weeks ago and was troubled by secca, unfortunately at that point I think it would of been a much better explore as there was loads of machinery and mobile cranes but by the time we got back this week most of the interesting things had been removed but there was a little to look at and document before the whole place may be gone not the best but an explore none the less anyway on with a few taster photos and if you would like you see more please click the link at the bottom, thanks for taking the time to have a look

Just had a scan through the other 190 pictures on your photobucket! Looks a good site, Hanson are mothballing and closing plenty of sites in the UK at the moment!

The thing in the last photo was probably about 8 meter in height .

Is this located at the North end of Derby, and did it once have lovely old grey cranes, about 3 or 4? Great pictures mate.

yes it had cranes and is north ish of derby!!!!
