J & J Dyson Thermal Technologies Refractories in Sheffield.

Dyson started life as a brick works in the 1800s and evolved into a large producer of kiln made products that could handle other really hot things.

Looks like business was shipped off to China in 2005ish and the place is awaiting buying/demo/zombie apocalypse.

Visited today with Mr Bobingtons. Was nice to get somewhere after all the other fails we had!

Cheers J, yeah we thought the same looking around it and nearly didn't bother, it's surprisingly tight in parts and we only did less than half the site, some sweet spots if you look hard enough.

Looks good, I think Dyson are on the skids so perhaps they've run out of cash to pay for demo… meantime, pity the joinery shop has been ransacked as there was some nice stuff tucked away there…
