Morecambe Winter Gardens is a Grade 2 listed building that was originally built as a theatre in 1897. Closed in 1977 it is was and still is one of the highlights of Morecambe and formed a large part of the history of the area. Friends of MWG are currently campaigning to restore the place to its former glory and re-open it to the public.
Visited Morecambe Winter Gardens on several occasions on organised visits. Thanks to Scrappy and Blueink for organising the visits.
