I got these the other day from a retired GPO/BT Engineer. The plans are in excellent original condition and relate to pre teletalk posts!

These particular plans were still in there original folder and relate to Woolverstone Post, Suffolk. Now sadly no longer with us as its been demolished.
Apparently the room still exists below the carpark which now covers it over!

There are a number of other wiring documents relating to the pre 68 closure period. Basically all of the material that a GPO engineer would have needed when visiting a post!

I dont spose any of you have the wiring diagram for electrics for the post? I used to have an original that was on like really brittle carbon paper but i have misplaced it.

Need to look at how much stuff i need to re-wire Castleton.

Don't worry about the rewire jacko. It'll not take me long!

I'll see how much stuff i can find to re-use.

Got plenty of cable and might see if i can get a timer from somewhere.

I have got to much to be honest! But every time I hear of something being thrown out I get it in my head to save it!!

I got a lot of UK Civil Defence diagrams the other day, date from the 1960's of e/bay for £10.00.
