Well, it's been a while since I did a report and a while since I had any urbex wins (usually fail at any sort of entry or even getting up to a building).

This one was just a chancer that I had seen in passing when on my way to denholme a couple of years ago. It's history is not easy to find other than part of it has been on fire and that the locals blame youths for it.

Entry to this was easy, poiibly one of the easiest ive done and once inside it certainly was a treat for the eyes as we were greeted by this

and then this

there were a few bits and bobs scattered around the room. The mini had a complete A-series engine and gearbox in it with the rocker cover on the floor. A classic car fanatic could probably put that back on the road. anyway, on with the pics.

This is the best staircase ive seen in a mill.

which led to what was obviously a sign makers

James bond had obiously been

there was no sign of his weapons but he left his phone

You cant get into the whole building and part of it is burnt out. it is a nice explore though and I'm not sure its been done for quite a while.

If you go soon you will be greeted with ways in. It was only as an afterthought i remembered this. 2 no goes and a heroiners den withdirty bag heads within resulted in some deep thinking before giving it up for another evening.

I did this place in Nov/Dec 2011 but hadn't posted my pics. It was a good explore, but I was by myself and bricking it! :)

Theres so much more if I could only find a way into the other mills, I think there may even be a few houses there also. It looks as though they are all connected, I noticed kids had kicked down plasterboard walls to get into other bits so at some point, I am assuming other parts will become accessable.

Where abouts were you greeted with the bag heads?

Good report and pics.
