old water board house, Shibden valley-just outside queensbury. February 20th

This one was from a while ago. Shibden valley is on the outskirts of Queensbury, it is quite a large area with woodland, farms and streams. This is one of three places i know in this area to visit. Im not too sure about the history but it has something to do with the council, im pretty sure it was some kind of water board house. First off i went and had a look in the little outhouse which is just across the road from the main house. Theres not much in here except a slab of stone with some writing on and graffiti on the wall.

Next i went to the main house.....

Theres three ways to get in, the two original doors or the big fuck off hole that used to be sliding doors, i naturally chose the coolest way ha......

On the bottom floor there is quite a lot of rubble, but thankfully no smackheads or baby sized turds....thankgod, there is a fire place and a door that leads down to the creepy cellar......i didnt go down it was dark and ive seen too many horror films, the good looking guy always gets it :p.....acroos the room is a window with some kind of mesh over it.....next to the window on the wall was the words 'This is hell'........nice

Upstairs is quite gutted, you can enter two small rooms covered in racist graffiti or stand at the top of the stairs and look across to the other side, you cant walk across, most of the upper floor has fallen down except fro a strip across the middle..

After this i went outside to get some more exterior photos but got chased by a group of organised, thugish horses so i did one :thumb

Not bad could of done with that house for my uni project damn !

have the big date stones from inside gone !...... there was 3 of them roughly 1/2 ton each massoooooove they were...., nice picks too

I was there about a year ago i did the scout building too not far from this location
