Those of you who know Brighouse will no doubt be familiar with Sugden's Flour Mill the iconic concrete towers stand tall over pretty much else in the valley. These photos were taken in March 2011 just as work had started to convert the old mill into what is now Rokt Climbing Gym. Quite a lot of the mill was in pretty bad condition given that it had abandoned for years however there were still some interesting rooms to explore, its like a maze in there.

The outside of the mill looking rather grotty.

Those iconic silos.
Exploring the inside...

The top floor of the mill stood on top of the silos.

The blue room, yes it really was this colour.

The staircases were a little on the grungy side.

A forest of steel (and pigeon poo)... oh and a rather unstable floor.

Out of the window on the top floor.
The colour prints are now exhibited at the rejuvenated mill in pretty much the same location they depict, although it looks rather different now :)
