Not much history, looks like it closed around 2007 but in some parts it most have closed decades ago.
Visited with Ezykial, Jippers, BlueBird and GhostCamera.

This place is pretty cool to be honest. You can imagine a load of miners sat in here straight from the pit with a tab in one hand and a pint in the other.

Perhaps the highlight was the 1970's Stewards Office. It had loads of cool stuff going back to the 50's.

Yeah tons of old photos and record books/minutes membership books going back decades - shame to see them like that.

I found a can of glitto too!

Now i have some for my ROC post!!

Probablys not, however taking a ripped open can of a caustic cleaning product with no value to it whatsoever which is now on display in a museum for ex RAF/ROC servicemen does not infringe on my conscience.

LOL don't think the people who own the club give a fuck about there Glitto (wtf is Glitto anyway?)
