Another little gem that Nobody and Kraetze my local "guides" showed me around, I have no history on this place at all and rely totally on Kraetze's statement that it was originally a DDR Freight yard of some description...

Another great set of shots.

Berlin had pretty much two of everything after reunification, so the city is littered with redundant rail infrastructure. The rate of demolition/attrition is increasing though.

I tell you a year out here is about the right length of time to see everything of note here...you come out of one place look over the road and there is something else :)
