Here goes...
Ok this was our best find of 2011. We were camping with friends in Dumfries and Galloway and came across the well-hidden Kenmure Castle, at the end of a very long, overgrown avenue of trees.

A lot of it was very unsafe but we managed to get into a couple of areas. The castle has a long history and had a few additions/restorations over the years. Some very interesting information was found on the following site - http://www.matthewpemmott.co.uk/2008/06/kenmuirekenmure-castle-new-galloway.html Worth a read.
Hope you enjoyed it.
