This isn't an original post, I'm just adding these pictures from the weekend as an update to old posts from King Elvis and Neosea. Slowly but surely Godwin in being eroded away. It was once the site of the largest and most powerful guns of the Humber defences. There's some work being done behind on the caravan site and much of what was on the cliffs has gone or is rubble. As an aside, I'd had a few in Crown & Anchor and most of the subsequent photos were an embarrassment, so they are gone too.
