Mersey Tunnel

Visited with BigJobs, Nickuk and Bugs, Having dropped my parents off to the airport i decided to take the opportunity to do some exploring in Manchester, I had alot on the list to cover that i would liked to do, mainly Solomons, this being one, After meeting up and getting all the introducing over, we headed off to the Mersey, we got to the shaw where we would set sail on our 2 boats, me and bugs in one and Bigjobs and Nick in the other, this made the explore more interesting, cant beat abit of boating!, must add that me and Bugs found it that easy we decided to do 360's, if there was an Olympic game for it, we would defo be up there ;)

pretty much doubt you have driven in this tunnel, unless your car can float ;)

Thanks for that. I've been wondering for years what the underside of Merseyway precinct looked like.
I've also wondered if there is a larger/more important river in Europe which has been concreted over. According to the Environmental Agency website the river is now so clean it has salmon breeding in it.
Maybe it's a genetic variant that has a special affinity with supermarket trolleys.
