Ok so while in Lincolnshire, myself and my fellow explorer MO2W, visited Nettleham Hall, just five miles north of Lincoln. I have tried an failed miserably to find any history linked with this beautiful ruin, so I'll just let my shots do the talking methinks!!, Set in a secluded wooded area, close to a farm, there was also a derelict cottage next to the hall.....the pics....

The famous gates at the front of the hall, access was soo difficult.. lol!:D

Bathed in dappled light, the halls slumbers peacefully. Was a bitch to shoot in these conditions. ISO 100, F6.4 did the job!!

Stone work rises out of the ivy, although the ivy seems to keep it from falling apart altogether!

Lovely light filtered dwon through the trees, sometimes quite other worldy.

Archways, doorways and windows abound.

I loved these, they looked almost Norman. More like 1700's I think.

Oooh ok, here we have the small dilapidated cottage that I christened the Gingerbread house!!

Not much inside apart form this rather funky yellow fireplace. Once again thas all from me guys, hope you loiked it all. Drop me some comments please.:ty:p
