Weavers House. Leapings, Thurlstone. May '11

Weavers House.

Grade II Listed. Built either late 18th or early 19th Century.
Possibly damaged by an unexploded bomb dropping clean through the roof and straight through the entire left side of the property. This area was badly bombed during the war as the nearby hills were one of the "Starfish" Decoy sites.
Spotted by eagle eye Royalbob on a little roadtrip. Lovely quirky building. Even had a little outside privvy with a not-too-old toilet roll in it. I dread to think who's been using it! :shocked
