The Iron Trunk aqueduct is located in Wolverton (or Cosgrove officially) and is 200 years old this year.

The local council and British Waters would like to restore the aqueduct as would the local community like to see it happen as its a big part of the canal heritage for the area and wolverton's former industry but like all restoration projects they have one problem, money.

So they have entered into the 'People's millions' on ITV (some of you may have seen it earlier in the end of the evening news) and if they win they will be granted £60,000 to restore the aqueduct, the other option to vote for is a charity to help old people look after their gardens, not as worthy if you ask me!
Heritage sites never get the spotlight in the media or funding they need, now it has the chance so please don't let it go to waste!
