Visited earlier this month, and old airfield is home to hundreds of decaying diggers, tractors, cranes etc etc. There is no history to speak of, I believe they were all bought by a farmer with the intention to restore, as they do, but now all awaiting the crusher. Some look to have gone compared to prev posts. Pic time-

You take a mean photo RB and I enjoy a lot of your post processing work. I've got to agree with Clough though, we need to reign in the graveyard stuff. Unless it is big fucking warships or space shuttles. I'd love to see a space shuttle.

Thanks for the comments, but they are posted in the specific transport thread for scrapyards etc.., if some people don't likey, fair enough, but a lot of peeps (Inc me) do like a bit of old machinery, if the forum don't want 'em, just remove the section? Just a thought guys...

Defo keep the 'Graveyards' thread going. I love em myself. We all have a preference of what particular rooms we like here and the Transport one is one of my faves. Not for everybody i know, but we don't have to be into all the same stuff do we;)

Erm, no real history to speak of here no. In a nutshell, the Farmer brought all the stuff to pretty much sell on as scrap. Bit by bit it's going everyday. He's not interested in anybody taking pics neither, infact he's dead against it:O there is also some P.I.R cameras dotted about so be aware of those should you want to take a wander? It's also right by some woods too which i'm told has a bomb dump in it that it still 'Live' so take extra special care should you find yourself climbing up it? It's been reported to the Police but apparently they're not interested? Anyway, i went looking and couldn't find it myself, but that doesn't mean it isn't there;)
