Spot of the old History :)

Baguley Hall was originally built in the 14th century, it is a timber framed hall in Greater Manchester. Grade I listed building and a Scheduled Ancient Monument.
The current hall, though dating to the 14th century, may be on the site of an earlier hall (possibly from the 11th or 12th century).

The 14th-century hall was built by Sir William de Baguley. It is built entirely of timber with wattle and daub walls, probably the oldest timber great hall surviving in England and using timbers of unusual size.
Alterations were made to the hall in the 17th and 18th centuries, when the south wing was added and the north wing was re-modeled.
The hall was used as a farm building until the mid 20th century when it was abandoned.
The hall is owned by English Heritage and is listed on the Buildings at Risk Register.

Anyhows, Heres me piccys.
