found this place whilst out walking done a search on here and its been done before the site is riddled with decaying stone walls and buildings which in recent years have been used as cowsheds or similar there is a large brick house possibly a colliery managers house (st johns colliery was here)

this is the only roof here its made of rsj and brick arch (never seen this anywhere before) and its super strong would support anything!!

the most impressive building looked more modern than the rest (i think its been made by robbing the stone from existing buildings as except for the frontage the stonework is too thin to support itself (my oppinion not fact but look for yourself)
