Mansfield General Hospital, Mansfield - May 2011.

A stalwart of the Urban Exploration tourist trail since forever, Muttley and I finally got round to tramping its crunchy corridors.

Closure in late 1992 has exposed this heavily expanded and clagged onto hospital to some serious raping by the elements. Collapsed single storey flat roofs and extensive water ingress are rife... however, as are nice little details. Surprisingly, this hospital doesn't seem to have fallen to the rape of pikey/vandal hands to the extent of some sites, just some good old fashioned natural decay.
