My first Urbex adventure....

Mitchell Grieve Ltd. manufactures and supplies latch needles, bearded needles and their associated knitting elements used in a wide variety of industrial knitting machines. This site has been shut for a while and is due to be demolished for a supermarket (surprise, surprise!).

The place is huge with lots still to see. There is a lot of water damage where parts of the roof are missing and as such the parquet floor is lifting so careful footing needed in some places. Also be careful of security who I think does his rounds every couple of hours. We were busted!!

I don't have any fancy camera, just your average digital camera but I don't think the results are too bad :p

Thanks Nicola! I'm not normally superstitious but it was Friday 13th and we'd been there 2 hours so were pushing our luck considering we'd seen him leave as we got there. He wasn't happy and swore at us a lot then drove after us and apologised!

Yep, that window shot with the Castrol can in the background;) great pic....Don't you think Starbs, you get good pics when you don't even try? Maybe not but i do? Can't work it out? I was saying to my mate today about geting busted soooo much, it seems i get busted on every job? My theory is that you spend so much time trying to get the pics, when you do you kind of let your guard down in terms of getting out of somewhere, hence getting seen easily??

I've just sent you a PM scottj about some 'ducking and diving' and now I read you get busted everytime you go out!! I might reconsider now! ha ha.
