some very nice pics in both sets, first time we went to skirwith it took me ages to find the o'yl lol.....i c u found a dinosaur too hahaha, 9th picture from the bottom (the place where it gets to a flat out crawl just before you go through the roof !, you have to try this when she is letting more water through like 4 inch off the roof !.....I did once hell scary but fun ! although she is a grade 1 in flood she's a killer....

To be honest, when it comes to caves me and buddah are very much novices, we've done LOADS of mines, but these are a very different kettle of fish. It doesnt help that i have a major fear of been in any space that has water and is confined, I.E. ANY wet crawl, this is cos when i was 12 (ish) i got trapped in a tight space in a cave while the watter was rising, took them 2 hours to get me out and resulted in a broken arm and dislocated shoulder, as well as various scares.

This is that bad that even on the crab walk in giants hole, various bits made me very light headed and gave me blury vision (mainly towards the end where it gets a bit tight and you have to lie in the water to get round one of the corners), i will have a go at pretty much anything, but if this had of been any wetter, i would of turned back, now i've done it with not much water in it, and i know i easyly fit through, i would have a go at it with a bit more flow, but if you're wondering why we are doing the novice stuff, it's cos thats what we are.

no problem with SRT though, so if you know of anything that has lots of big pretty formations, and doesnt involve swimming through tiny holes, give us a shout

no worries about you doing so called 'novice' systems people do not realise even these can be a killer not long ago there was a double death in alum and a death in yordas all 3 due to flooding !
list of caves I would suggest you do
Yordas either off the tree laying across the hole or via the middle water inlet (be careful there if the waters banging down once down the first pitch if you can not get round the corner and you have to come back your caught under a nasty waterfall !spinning around trapped underwater is no fun !)

bull pot
sunset hole
heron
southerscales (lol you will hate me if you do this :) )
middle washfolds
juniper gulf
marble steps

think that will keep you going for a while and I'm glad you see caving totally different to mines (I do both) they are very different....
