St Margaret's Convent, Liverpool, April 2011

This place was opened in 1890 by the Sisters of Charity for the residential care of the elderly. The sisters and the residents moved out in 2004. It's widely rumoured that 1992 hit film 'Sister Act' was based on a real life story that happened here with Whoopi Goldberg visiting prior to the film's release. It isn't, it wasn't and she didn't but I've got nothing else to say.
