During my visits I got to see the tunnels which locals had only heard stories about, many which are still unfounded rumors, others which are true.
The furthest the tunnels went off site were across lickey Road to an orphanage back in the early days, the Orphanage has since been demolished and the tunnel has been blocked off.
The only places in Cofton Park that Rover used were air raid bunkers close to the road, these have now been either demolished or backfilled.
The Shadow Factory tunnels were first explored by Oxygen Thief and a few others on 28day, however I was the first to explore the Runway tunnels under the main (remaining) part of the site.
The Runway Tunnels were used as an air raid shelter and temporary morgue during WWII.

The infamous Mini with 11 miles on the clock! An ex Rover manager explained to me that this was probably from an accident on the production line, it was probably put down here away from executive eyes as people would be docked for mistakes like this.
He also explained that there is a covered pit somewhere on site where there are quite a few buried damaged shells that were disposed of for the same reasons.
