Keeping it local... had heard about this place (from MJS' Flickr actually - Cheers ye bastard) just down the road by the River Aire, quite obviously from which, it obtained the name. Visited with KooK.

Closing in August 2000, this site was a dyeing and twisting mill, which involved the colouring and packaging of fabric yarns for clothing manufacture.

Not much evidence remains of the large scale processes that were carried out apart from some sticky pink splashes on the floor.

Also looks like it's about to be demoed :(

Thanks for having a look, there are some bits we didn't get into thanks to:

A. A leg going through a flat roof
B. A stubborn metal sliding door that refused to budge.

Nice one mate, this place is battered but it's still worth a mooch, had a good do here one night doing some light painting
