Testing out uploading via Flickr, never done it before and I don't think it's worked. I tried to follow the sticky guide but I don't have the Grab HTML option mentioned. So if this doesn't work, please let me know and I'll try and sort alternate uploads.
Anyway, I've wanted to visit Eastend for at least a year. Finally got around to it on Monday, on a warm beautiful day - a rarity in Scotland!
The building is unfortunately considerably more damaged than any of the previous threads here. It's really starting to fall apart, with giant holes in the floors and caved ceilings. The water damage is also taking its toll, and there's still a leaking pipe down on the ground floor near the kitchen, which has flooded the two rooms adjacent.
Also, I was disappointed to discover that many of the mannequins that were present in older photos have been stolen. :(
That all said, it's a very interesting building, and I enjoyed taking a good look around it. I've been in a black and white mood recently, so please excuse the lack of colour in the photos!
