Stonebridge Mill, its a fine little site and has the worlds worst security guard, saw us and kept walking... then looked back at us... scratched his arse and kept walking, the guy didnt seem the slightest bit fussed. Wouldnt of bothered us cos we were on our way out!
Was built around 1800 and is full of Wicker baskets, asbestos, spinning spools and kids you can scare by slamming a little metal door 1ft from there face at the top of some ladders they were climbing.
Dont know much history but it might be redeveloped into a load of shops and such in a 13million pound investment thing....
Anyways on with it, visited with Fowleandclough......
The oldest part lots of old bits and pieces...
