So, this place has been done many a time since it has been abandoned. I don't have much of the history but i believe it went into liquidation in 2004.

We took 2 trips over. The first was in january, we were there for hours as the place is massive, but eventually had to leave due to thirst and the cold!! (it was so cold when we came out my lenses steamed up!!) and so we returned weekend just gone to finish off!!! On return we were sad to see that alot fo extra vandalisation had occured. All the canteen windows are now smashed, there were chairs outside that had been thrown through windows, and the main office windows are now all broken. its a shame as alot fo the documents were still in pristine condition on the first visit and we could of spent ages looking throug, now wit the etra breakage you really notice the difference in the dmap in the place!

Also second time, we thought we may have been busted, but our mystery follower never showed themselves even though we heard them walking through the next room. VERY STRANGE, anyway some pictures!!!!

yeh they manufactured cornishware there the famous blue and white striped stuff, from about 1925, when it closed it became really sought after although i think someones now bought the company and they manufacture elsewhere
its a real interesting place and its huge, you can go into 2 of the kilns both still have pots in, and there is so much fired unpainted pottery lying around, although vandalisms slowly creepigng in

it is places like this that will suffer heavily from vandalism 'cause it is so easy to just smash some pots up and some idiots think this looks like fun for some reason

I'd rather they were smashing the pots than smashing up the buildings though!

Shame to see its gone downhill a bit, though I don't suppose its done bad for how long people have been going in there.
